Fine Art Bocote Wood Jewelry Box - Storage Box
If you have ever had a similar type box You know how useful they are. It is one of those thing you don't know how you ever got along without.
Bocote is a highly figured Exotic Tropical Hardwood. It mainly comes from Central America. It ranges in color from dark brown to golden brown with telltale black streaks weaving through the grain of the wood. These Formal colors make a great compliment to this type of box.
This particular Fine Art Jewelry Box takes advantage of this exotic wood and showcases it's beauty. The Box has two figure indentations on each side to help hold the box as you transport it. We used High quality and precision made Brusso brass square knuckled full mortise butt hinges. Which is engineered with a built-in stop that allows the lid to remain open at 95 degrees.
The bottom of the Box and tray are lined with high quality black leather.
Overall Box Dimensions: 11 1/2" wide, 3 7/8" tall, 4 3/4" deep
inside bottom level: 10 7/8" wide, 1" tall, and 4" deep
tray dimensions: 6 1/4" wide ,1 3/16" tall, 4 1/8" deep,
four tray compartments that are each 2 5/8" wide , 1 1/2" deep and 1".
